Enterprise Architecture

Keep your systems.
Connect your operations.

A VOC workspace doesn’t replace your ERP, your CRM, or your document platform — it is the orchestration and intelligence layer above them, designed to unify data and workflows across the stack you’ve already invested in. Your systems of record stay the systems of record.

Integration Center

Twenty-four ways in — and out

Search or filter the systems VOC is designed to connect, then open any card for the honest details: method, typical timeline, authentication, and where middleware really is required.

Supported integration path

Systems with documented APIs or approved exchange methods — Microsoft Graph, vendor REST APIs, SFTP, database access — that VOC is designed to connect through. Scope and effort are confirmed during discovery.

Representative integration

Shown to demonstrate how the architecture handles this class of enterprise system. These landscapes vary widely and are scoped individually, subject to technical discovery.

Representative enterprise systems and common integration targets. Final integrations are determined during discovery. Timelines shown in integration details are typical, illustrative ranges subject to technical discovery. Product names are the property of their respective owners; listing indicates an integration path VOC is designed to support — no vendor partnership or endorsement is implied, and no listing implies a pre-existing production connector.

Integration Methodology

Four steps, every connection

The same disciplined loop applies whether we’re connecting a modern SaaS API or a twenty-year-old ERP.

01

Assess

Inventory the system’s API maturity, authentication options, data quality, rate limits, and vendor constraints — before promising anything.

02

Map

Define exactly which entities and fields flow, in which direction, on what schedule, and which system wins when records conflict.

03

Connect

Build the connector with retry logic, error queues, and audit logging — then test failure modes, not just the happy path.

04

Monitor

Every integration ships with health dashboards and alerting. Sync failures surface to people who can act — not into a silent log.

Architecture Patterns

Three patterns cover nearly every landscape

We choose the simplest pattern that meets the requirement — and tell you plainly when a heavier one is genuinely needed.

System API Workspace

Direct API integration

Real-time, two-way calls straight to the system’s API. The default for modern SaaS platforms — lowest latency, fewest moving parts, simplest to monitor.

Best for: Salesforce, Microsoft 365, ServiceNow, HubSpot, Procore

ERP Legacy Middleware Workspace

Event / middleware layer

An integration layer queues, transforms, and routes events between systems. Adds cost and latency — justified when ERPs impose it or when many systems share flows.

Best for: SAP and Oracle landscapes, multi-system event fan-out

Source SFTP Workspace nightly / hourly schedule

Batch & file exchange

Scheduled, validated file transfers over SFTP or managed import. Unglamorous and dependable — the right answer when APIs don’t exist or partners mandate files.

Best for: banks and payroll providers, legacy systems, external partners

Bring your system list. We’ll bring the map.

In one working session we’ll sketch a representative integration architecture for your stack — what can connect directly, what typically needs middleware, and what to leave alone. Start with one department. Expand when the value is proven.
